Spring hits my three square feet of outdoor space
Despite the coldest spring in over 50 years in London plus rain and mainly overcast days, I've managed to plant all the pots and troughs and am surprised that I have even managed a few salads from the spinach, salad leaves and herbs I planted. This is surprising as the space is north facing so only gets the sun early morning and late afternoon.
My outdoor space comprises three square feet outside the back door at the top of a set of outside steps. However I do have an enormous park (Common) across the road from my flat so I never feel the need to have a garden. There is just enough room in my outdoor space to fit my vintage folding French chair (from Golborne Road) from where I can sit of an evening with a glass of wine!
