Celebrating Andy Murray's win for Britain with a drink and snacks with two friends
I'm a huge fan of tennis but not a huge fan of Andy Murray. However, credit where credit is due; he played a great final and managed to beat the world no. 1 in three sets. I was out all day so didn't see the match but a couple of friends popped over after the game for a drink. I rustled up a platter to share.
Delicious sharing platters
- Fresh radishes
- Mixed Spanish cold cuts (chorizo, jamon etc)
- Raw celery sticks
- Mixed olives
- Artichoke hearts
- Sun-dried tomatoes
- Organic sheep's milk feta that I cut up and added pieces of fresh lemon, smoked paprika, chilli flakes and good quality olive oil
On the other platter are hummus, oatcakes and other crackers. I also served warm ciabatta bread to mop up the olive oil in the feta cheese. We also managed to enjoy a couple of bottles of wine!
