Peter Jones in Sloane Square, London, is my favourite department store. For those of you who don't live in the UK, it is part of the John Lewis chain.  The customer experience is superb — all their staff are knowledgeable and cannot do enough to help you. 

As part of John Lewis you can buy online, and, best of all, you can have the parcels delivered not only to your home but to your local Waitrose supermarket (a chain also owned by John Lewis).  This is so convenient as often you are not at home for the delivery. I do most of my Christmas shopping online with John Lewis as they have absolutely everything. I buy all my white goods from Peter Jones, most recently my wonderful new Fisher & Paykel fridge.

The Peter Jones store has six levels and an escalator in the middle of the store from where I took these photos. The exterior of the building is pretty ordinary and bland but inside is modern and stylish.

I was in there last night on my way home from work (the beauty of riding a moped is I can pop into stores on the way home on a whim without having to rely on public transport). I thought the Christmas decorations inside were superb so had to take some photos on my phone and share them with you.
